In the latest edition of BMC Exp. there was an ad for a product called Liquid Intelligence 230 which claims to stop oil leaks. Does anyone know anything about it? |

http://liquidintelligence.com.au/ I've never tried it, but its poor engineering practice, and has been solved by a large range of under performing products since the 60s. If a seal is damaged, its damaged. It may be the journal that is worn and not the seal, and no amount of chemicals will help an oil leak caused by flogging. Corroded journals physically cut rubber away and its gone forever. Its like the Holy Trinity of over the counter snake oils imho. Radiator renovators, oil leak repairs and fuel system additives. All the same, scientific or engineering fact is so often lost in the propaganda. He'll make a killing I suspect. |

Get under there and change your seals i did and now no leaks best oil additive ever and no damage to inside of engine later and not hard to do your self if mechanicly minded Watch the aussie moke wheeler dealer and the sh-it that comes out of that radiator from a leak sealer additive |

It took my father and i less than half a day to pull the motor out, change all the gaskets and seals and refit the motor. Having the engine crane and stand helped, but it is essentially pulling bolts separating bits cleaning off and putting it all back together again. Voila! No leaks. |
