What is the main OD of the cooper s hardy splicer drive shaft?
A have a pair with the raised band and the OD is 7/8 inch, same as some early normal shafts I have (possibly 998 cooper).
From memory, I read somewhere that the S had a larger diameter than the normal shaft.

If I remember right, the S shafts are the same diameter as an 850/998/1098 are, however they are of better material. They have a raised ring near the middle to ID them.
