Well,there you go. So it is the same situation in NZ as in Aus. I'm pleased, as it makes sense. Which means that the ID on that Mini above seems a little shonky.

Interesting.

In the situation we are discussing here, moving all the bits from one bodyshell to another and giving the "new" vehicle the identity of the "old", that bulletin seems to say it is illegal, which is the same as here in Oz, isn't it?

Just noticed that the NZ document is in among others in a section about Heavy Vehicles. I wonder if the rebirthing rule also includes cars, etc. ?
