So I've done of serching and without buying a 90* angle fitting does anyone else know how I can install the oil gauge line without it hitting the distributor vac ?? I was hoping to use the T piece so can still have the dummy oil as a back up.

Rotate the distributor 90 deg so the vac unit is on top and then move the plug leads back one post

How do you mean move back one post ? I'm pretty clued up for most things on the mini
But never played with the distributor or timing so a bit nervous about moving it. Haha

If you turn the out side of the dizzy 90 deg clock wise the the leads move back anti clock wise one out let on the dizzy cap . as in the same position as they where before , you will need to re time the engine after moving the dizzy
