I'm about to bend up a couple of external sill panels for another mini we bought.
It appears that they bow outwards on the existing mini's we have.
Is this correct or are they meant to be straight?
thanks,
Frank

They do curve.
If you are making your own sills a simple solution is a few cuts in the bottom section to get it to curve  .

Yes original ones are curved. You buy a heritage English sill (too many flutes for aussie cars) and you will see it curves.

Minsport just bend them up on a sheet metal bender. like you are about to do. I did the same using the folder at school.

Matt Reid from memory made a few up a while back and heated them up with an oxy and then quenched it to make it curve.

Interesting, I wonder if welding the outside join first would be enough to make it curve?
I seem to be able to curve stuff I want straight easily.
