Hi all,

Had my speedo reco'd and calibrated a few years ago and recently using GPS found that at 100kph shows 62mph (in between needle wobbles!) which is correct.

Problem is, it is out at most other speeds....e.g at 80kph is showing 45mph instead of 50mph on the speedo.

Is it the speedo drive gear? Had to put a new one in years ago before I had the speedo showing anything and then had it calibrated.

Thanks for any clues....

I think it is the speedo itself.

How accurate is the odometer? If the odometer is correct the speedo gear is the right ratio.
