Just wondering if anyone had any advise about transporting a mini interstate? 2560 to 5097? Unfortunately can't pick it up myself so need to involve a 3rd party. Any companies that would come recommended? Thanks! |

If it is in running condition then you can pretty much pick any of the big companies. A non runner on the other hand gets a bit harder as a lot of companies won't touch em as it means having winches on their trucks. I had to move my last as a non runner from tas to adelaide and the only company I could get to consider it was VIP, though you don't have the problem of trying to get it across the puddle. My suggestion would be to contact a couple for quotes and be specific about your vehicle and your requirements, it should be fairly straight forward. |

Ceva had the best rate for me, melb to syd, You can have them do door to door, depot to door, door to depot, depot to depot. Depot to depot being the least expensive, door to door being the most. It was $500-$550 something depot to depot. |

There a guy myself & a mate have used for 4-5 cars (2 minis on the same load from Cootamundra to the Gold Coast) door to door doesn't matter if the cars are running or not & he is quite reasonably priced. I can you his number if you like. Cheers Brad |

Is it running? I'm always keen for a good road trip. If you pay for fuel, and a one-way ticket from Adelaide to Melbourne I'll drive it (and buy my own one way from Melb to Sydney). Don't know if that'd be cheaper than the transport guys, but PM me if you want to have a chat. |

That could be a brave move if this is a car she had bought interstate "sight unseen" What do you do if it conks out halfway? You have no way of assessing it's roadworthiness or mechanical reliability until you're there ready to go so to speak. KB |

RACV Total Care. And like I said anyway - PM me, we'll exchange phone numbers, have a chat, and align expectations. Thanks for your concern though. 1310/71 wrote: That could be a brave move if this is a car she had bought interstate "sight unseen"
