i drive to work daily in the mini... about 30 - 35km round trip with 1 foot to the floor steep hill on the way.
And might do 1 or 2 other trips or deviations to my norm each week

I dont specifically keep track of it but i fill up every 5 or 6 working days so travel about 200 - 250km between fill ups and put maybe 16-20 liters in each time

So my numbers would match yours pretty well.
Mine is a bog standard 998 by the way.

There is an app you can put on your Android or other type to track economy.

I take a photo of my k's and the receipt and from time to time stick it in a spreadsheet.

I haven't done it recently so it would be interesting to see how things have changed since the carby was done and also since we took the stupid rich needle out...

I drove mine to work for a week (70km return) and got 7.2L/100km average. I only have the single small tank, so I filled up a couple of times that week!

It's a standard deluxe 998, at least 50% of the trip is in a 100kph zone too, the rest is 50/60/70

I've been getting shy of 9l/100km out of my 998 over the last few weeks. But it needs a good tune and a wheel alignment - hopefully that will improve things.

My 1310A+ which I've just converted back from EFI to HIF44, is getting 6.3l/100k (44.8MPG) this was over 332k's 200 using it locally and some highway and the rest with my son driving on his L plates. Very happy, as my Renault Clio only gets 6.6l/100k over the same routes.

The engine has Metro standard cam 1.5 rockers, LCB, MG Metro Turbo head and still running the MegaSquirt ECU, but only ignition.

Jim

I'm a nerd who likes number crunching (its my job), so I track all our cars whenever I fill them.
Our 87 Rover mini 998cc averages 8.3lt/100 (spirited peak hour melbourne driving lately)
Our 88 Rover mini 1275 spi averages 9l/100 (always ran rich so I've just accepted that and try to remain happy that it actually runs)
Our 63 Morris 850 (stock standard 850) averages 7.5l/100 which is only weekend cruising.

All are heavier on the juice that my suzuki swift which averages 6.9l/100.

Its about 7.1 litres per 100 klm
1 x mpg = .354005 klm per litre and then you have to convert to litres used per 100 klm
cheers
Ian

Think I'm getting about 13l per 100 km from my Supercharged mini. My cooper S gets about 28mpg. 1310, RE? Cam, twin 1 1/2 SUs
