Do you take your mini to a specific mechanic for services and repairs (assuming you can't do them yourself) or do you just go to a normal place like Ultra Tune?
We are just about to get our first Mini and would like to have a mechanic lined up to service/repair/restore it.
Any advice would be would be great - Adelaide or not!
:D

i would encourage you take it to a place that has been recommended by a fellow mini enthusiast.

weather they are a specific mini / British car mechanic like i'm lucky enough to have near me, or a regular mechanic who has experience with minis doesn't matter too much.

but i would never take it to a "normal place" i just picked out of the phone book without looking for some recommendations first.

From what I hear tho, you will be spoiled for choice over in Adelaide

Spoilt for choice? I like the sounds of that.
I know a friend of a friend that I have spoken to that is a mechanic and he loves minis but he is over an hour away so I don't think it would work if we needed to get work done on it.

Where abouts in Adelaide Michele, north side, south side, CBD? There are a few around just depends on where you are or how far you want to travel.

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.
