Greetings All.
Just quick question. About to start a a new rebuild. 1310 S motor. Twin 1 1/2" SU's. To get ball park mixture, do I screw it up, then turn it down 12 flats? Is that about right?
Alex.

That should get you a good start point .

I pinch some of my wifes brightest nail polish , ( don't say a word Slacko  ) and after i have screwed them right up , i paint 1 flat on each carbie , that way you can see them better if you adjust them further .

Yeah, twelve flats was enough for me with an identical fit.

Eight might be enough as well, as long as each is the same when it starts.

Thanks Goodie and Mick.

Yes, now running good. Did 12 flats, then added another couple and its running sweet.
Sorry for the late reply, took some UK Mini visitors out for dinner.
Tomorrow
we will fine tune and test run.
Cheers
Alex.
