It's basically used, and on its last rebore at 1380cc, I'd pass on it. You could liner it back to std but it'd cost heaps. IMO not worth doing unless you get it real cheap and it's going into a genuine Mk2S.

Thanks Simon.

My old man has had a 1970 MK2 S sitting in the shed for bout 15 yrs now. When he bought the car it had been raced at some stage in its history and had the engine replaced with an 1100 S. He got it out of the shed last weekend polished it up and is now on the hunt for a MK2 S engine to finish it off.
