Tomorrow is the annual Bendigo Swap Meet, the second largest in Victoria after Ballarat (which is on 20/21 February 2015). Apart from me I'm aware of several Ausminiers who plan to attend - flute, 850man, john_sneddon, NT. Feel free to add your name and mobile number if you want people to know you are there and perhaps arrange a catch-up.

If anyone finds any BMC or Leyland Australia publications, such as Service Liaison Summaries, Technical & Service Bulletins, Parts Catalogues, etc. I'd love to know about it. Please give me a call - 0419 115 152 - Doug

I just took my 76 S to meet the previous owner! He has come down from a Broken Hill for the swap-so he was pumped to see her again!

Also dropped off a box of mini service manuals etc for me that I left behind-haven't opened it yet, might be something of interest in there for you yet!

I'll be there all day tomorrow wandering aimlessly!

I dont know about down there but at swaps here mini bits are very thin on the ground

Mainly ford holden and chrysler bits at these things

I find it a game to find the mini bits at swaps

Last swap i went to was 2 weeks back walked out with 2 stock hubcaps and 2 window winder handles at the first stand i was at 4 items for $8

and a holden parts bloke selling 3 mini door quarter windows for $40 each all had no locking handles and were just good for the glass and a 1 1/4 su for $55 ill see him next year and he will still have them on his stand at that price i offered him 30 for the su back in july but arwell

And a car workshop manual bloke who sells them $30 to $50 a book he went off at me when i told a customer that the bloke the next row down had manuals for $10 to $20 each at the all holden weekend

Some are at these things to rip people off and thats why you see them with the same stock time after time and others are there to get rid of the stuff at cheap prices as they dont wanna take it home

Do one lap of all the stalls first to get a feel for prices then get ya wallet out the second lap its amazing how much you find the second or third time around the stalls at these things

I went along yesterday for a look, came home with an ash tray for my minimatic and 3 mini models. Very little mini related stuff there, good day all the same :)
