I've been away from home, and at very short notice for work. I had two hours warning on a sunday some weeks ago and am only just getting home today from a bit of an unfolding adventure of time and space.

Anyway, to all who have had queries and problems in my inbox, and especially to those I owe stickers and keyrings, I am sorry for the looooong delay. Internet and email was not really an option for the vast majority of the trip, and I have another week to go after I leave home again on Sunday (I hope). I will catch up with as much as I can this weekend.

Sorry!

No, but there's a new Garrett articulated locomotive on the rails up here in Canberra they use a lot of late. Once summer rolls in I think I'm keen to take a close look.

No need to apologise Mick, I'm sure everyone on here is grateful for the time and effort you put into the forum.

Don't worry Mick. We soldiered on gallantly without you.

The worst is that the server was giving issues. It seems OK again though (crosses fingers)..

Not a problem Mick...however, it is a worry when Ausmini seems to be dependant on one key man...do you have an apprentice?

Just about any mod can have the hamster wrangler prodded into action, it was my fault I hadn't set one up before I left.

I was the only mod here, with winabbey in japan at the same time, but had no legumes to send to the wrangler for feeding the hamster.

Mick has now given us all some magic beans, so we should be ok without him next time.

cheers
michael

Life was fine in NZ waters till the russians came along.

I'm glad to see we could extend the same courtesies to their ships as we extended to Putin.

Agreed.

I haven't had any issues this week with logging on, which has been great

Finally I've caught up with the admin, those who had keyrings and stickers, they're on their way with the mail on Monday.

I even owe Timmy a giant box of carb bits as well. They've been sitting here ready to go for a month! I'll try and connive my wife to drop in to Auspost for this one through the week, but I'm thinking my chances are slender...they may need to go out with me on Saturday. Sorry Tim!
