Thought this might be of general interest to those keen on Mini pick-ups. I didn't put it in the For Sale section because it's not really a viable option financially to buy and ship from the USA; more of a talking point.

For $6500 I'd prefer to just buy a decent van and cut the roof of that and modify the rest to suit.
I wonder what this ute would end up weighing once the shell is finished and ready to build into a car?

I doubt you get it registered here, so it'd be an expensive 'talking poInt'. As kenno says, a mini van cut down wouldn't be too far off the mark. You could use original parts maybe, I don't know whats available.
I've seen a few (pictures) of utes made out of sedans, they don't look too bad, very 60's ish.
