Does anyone have a suggestion on a breather and better yet one available that gets me around this?

Regards

Dave

Or simply cut a section out of the base pipe to change the angle and braze it back together

Getting rid of that adjustable pedal box should solve the problem you're having. :P

Dave, I made up a alloy breather pipe , packed some steel wool from the kitchen into hole to help stop oil vapour, has been working fine for last three years.

Nice one mal, how do you find the dual master setup?

I did away with that flywheel housing breather, as it gets lots of oil chucked up it on long LH bends at high rpm.
I ran a nylon line to the rocker cover to equalise the top to bottom crankcase pressure, it now pulls the fumes from the rocker cover to a Toyota PCV valve on the manifold. Working great.

Dave, the dual master are great, gives you good pedal every time.Make sure you put some socks over the reservoir caps , they leak through breather holes and make a mess under hard cornering.

The only downside is they need to be removed if you are doing an engine change, just make sure you make allowance when plumbing them up, in hind sight I would have fitted some custom braided hoses.
