Does anyone have pictures of the upper and lower dash panels that haven't been butchered? I am almost up to repairing mine and I am looking for a reference to go by to work out which holes should be there and which ones I need to fill back in. Over the years it looks as though several backyard engineers have had at it with either an axe or small amounts of explosives based on what would loosely be called holes through the lower dash. As for the upper dash a previous owner must have had something against airvents as they have been savaged pretty well...... So if you have some pictures of when yours was stripped down or that show what the panels should look that you could share it would be much appreciated. cheers, CJ |

They have done a good job on the dash. Why? The 2 round holes you identified look original. Plus 2 more for the demister. Plenty of photos in the build threads if you have a spare week or two. Third picture down in this thread shows a few holes. viewtopic.php?t=86837 |

I have a club man van shell that I've just wrecked out, you can cut the dash out of it if you need to, located in Adelaide. Doogie |

Thanks guys that is food for thought but I have no idea how to get the panel out without destroying it? Anyone removed a lower dash? |
