Once upon a time, there was a Mini. It had a nice standard 998, but it wanted to be bigger ![]() Then, one day, there was some action..... ![]() About 3 months later, it was hapily given a +.020" bore, 1098 crank, RE13 cam, PORTED head, twin carbs etc.....and it was finally happy ![]() JAM has been motorless for a LONG time......and here he is, with a big grin on his lovely slab front: ![]() ....and is the happy motor, eagerly waiting to be fitted to JAM. ![]() But before we could drop it in, we had to make sure it had oil pressure. So we tried to crank it over....and tried...and tried.... ![]() ![]() Finally we got it cranking and good oil pressure. Up up and away!! ![]() Come on mate....you are doing all the work here.....give us a smile!! ![]() ![]() There....there.......soon you will be tucked into bed ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A MASSIVE THANKS TO AARON, FOR THE HELP AND EXPERT ADVICE. Couldn't have done it without you mate.....and you saved MANY spanners from being hurled accross the garage!! ![]() |
