Hi guys, does anybody know of an old school panel beater willing to do the body work on my 69 Cooper S.I am in Cooma NSW. The body will be completely stripped out & bead blasted ready to work on.Little or no rust, just getting the body ready to paint.Time to do it dose not really matter.I can deliver it to them as long as it is within a reasonable distance eg Sydney no problem.
Cheers Kath.

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

Kath - my assessment of Rocky is that he will only work on a Mini if it's going to be done properly, which can mean many hours and hence many dollars. He's been burnt in the past by people who "just want a quick cheap job done", and then they complain loudly and publicly years later when the repair doesn't last. Also be aware he's retired but he does a few jobs for friends, so don't be disappointed if he says he can't do it.

Not wanting to discourage you, just want to prepare you. :)

I used to live and work in Cooma for the Snowy Hydro. There is or was a private bloke that worked from home in Cooma. That was back in 2000. He did restorations on vintage and classic cars but unfortunately I don't know his name. If you ask around in Cooma you may have some joy. From what I heard at the time he was also affordable for mere mortals.
