Hi, Sarah and I just got back from a week in the sun in Port Douglas. Naturally I couldn't stay away from Minis completely, so here is some photos of our Hire Car!! 
Just right for squeezing into spaces where no other car would fit. 
Now I've got some real motivation to finish MY Moke. Cheers. |

great pics brett especially the last one shows how small they really are was the car a little lighter when you returned it |

Nope, but on the last day I was tempted to drive home rather than take it back. I reckon by the time they realised it was missing I would have been in Townsville with different number plates fitted.
It had by far the best ride of any non-hydro Mini/Moke I have ever driven. Only a stock 998 minus air pump and drums all round unfortunately. |

Next time you are down my way Brett you can have a drive on my Moke. With the new hi-lo's, new cones and shocks and the bigger motor it will make that hire car look sad.....

You should have dropped over to Magnetic Island off of Townsville as well. They have about 20 to rent over there. What a hoot around the mountainous twisty roads! |

Thanks for the offer, I might take you up on that!
New cones, new shocks, new bushes and hi-los is exactly what I have fitted to my Moke too. Now I just need to fit the motor, and paint it, and ..... EDIT: My new rollbar should be ready to pick up this weekend. CAMS approved type for Motorkhanas.

The moke would nearly be the most common rental car up here.... There every where!!!!! Backpackers love em...! |
