Hi there, I am sure this would have been brought up before, but I am wondering if anyone as the capabilities to reproduce the welded seams or decorative pressings (weld with a fake angled stitch) that were used on Australian Leyland minis (seats and door cards)? Has someone got the tools to do this? Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers Roy. |

There are a few places that can do it. One in Sydney whos name I've forgotten and Dash Original in Adelaide come to mind. |

Thanks for your reply. Is there anyone in Australia that can do it who is familiar with the Australian minis? like is there someone I can ring up who will know exact what I am talking about etc. I am based in New Zealand. I am looking at getting a complete set done (front and rear seats and door cards)... so its not just a small touch up job I am looking for.... if you or anyone can suggest where to go.... |

As I believe, there are people that can do the normal welded lines aka Cooper S and roundy door cards and Leyland door cards. But I havn't heard of anyone who can do stitch pattern. I thought you had sourced a set of trim for your GT? |

One stop motor trimming in Peakhurst in Sydney has the press that can remake mk1 and mk2 trim. Doogie |
