Could any one be able to tell me where I can get the threaded fittings that rivet onto the uprights of the screen frame to hold the perspex side screens on place? I am also on need of a headlight switch, a wiper switch and warning lights for the dash of a 1977 Californian. I am also after the measurements of the brake pipes for a non split braking system as I need to make new pipes up. Thanks in Advance. McFarkle ![]() |

I think (Don't quote me), the switches are the same as clubman/Leyland minis, repros of these are still available I believe I'm not real sure which threaded rivits you are talking about (I have solid side screens), but thinking your local trimmer would have access to them (are they lift-a-dot studs or turn-buckle clips?) |

I have a couple of stray switches for a Moke. If I remember correctly I have the rotary two speed wiper switch and a headlight or two. EDIT: I just did a late night shed run and i must have sold the rotary wiper switch with the dash it was in. All the other rocker style switches are brittle and won't stay clipped into a dash. I'm no help with the windscreen things except try a boat trimmer. Lots of boats have fabric tops and a windscreen like a moke and I think I got the lift-the-dot parts from one of this places. I have the steel frames screens on mine so no needs for that threaded thing with two rivets in the base. M |

Hi David. Try Bill Thompson Auto Rubber in Bayswater: http://www.autorubbers.com.au/contact_us.htm They used to be in Ringwood and have almost every type of clip for Moke hoods, etc. I seem to recall them having the clip you are after, but can't see it on their website. Might be worth a visit with the bit you want. Cheers, Watto. |
