arvo peeps... although this has probably been done in past years, people and tastes change so i thought id put this up and ask... whats your ideal set up on a mini... Shape, colour, brakes, suspension, interior, wheels, exhaust and engine (which is prob most important to most) For me, id like a matt gunmetal grey round nose with performance suspension kit.. some disc brakes all round.. nice leather interior.. 12x7 wheels.. half decent sound system as for engine id like something that shot from 0-80km/h quick as, above that im not to worried cuz im not trying to race a v8 on the m4 lol im sure some of you guys could be more specific with exactly what parts youd like... im a noob atm so im interested in seeing what people are into. |

Mk1 S, no arches, rosepetals, ~100hp webered 1275 with decent discs all round, no back seat, cage. Not red or green (OEW or grey would be nice). Pretty much this, actually. ![]() |

I just want one that is rust free, leak free and rattle free. And round nose, but that's a given ![]() |

I probably have a couple of ideal Minis. Everyday mini would be a stock 1100cc with twin box RC 40 stage 1 tuning kit to keep to noise down. Electronic ignition and electric cooling fan would be the only other mods under the bonnet. Interior would be some nicely retrimmed standard seats in black. If it was a Clubman shell it would be Scarlet O Hara orange with 6 x 10 minilights and Wood and Picket arches. Round nose shell would be Surf blue(BU35) looking pretty much like the grey Mini above posted by Mr Orange. As for a weekend warrior, that's a hard question, maybe the above shells but with the usual suspension mods and Suzuki Swift running gear. I hate to admit it but the older I get the more original I like my Minis. |

I'd love a mk1 cooper s with Bathurst history, oh I have that. A nice Austin Cooper S, oh I have half of that. A nice Clubman GT family cruiser, hehe, have that. A Mike for summer days, my girlfriend has that. And a nice new toy that has a mini engine, getting that next weekend. Lucky me. Doogie |
