Just wondering what "the best" specs for a mini with 8.4 disks and 12's are.

And who are the good mini friendly wheel aligners in and around Sydney? (if my dads friend does not pan out, Trocu Tyre at Chullora.

Jim Hunter Suspension in 3rd Ave, Blacktown has an olde skool floor mounted setup. Does all Minis fine.

Many/most new laser aligners can't do 10 or 12" wheeled Minis since they upgraded to take the stupic 24" wheels.

Yeah I have seen alot of people go on about the new aligners, I though I saw someone say somthing about a mini friendly mechanic (not Greig) in and around the silverwater area that had one of the old setups as well....

But thanks for the info Doc.

John Leffler is in the St George area isn't he?
He would be my choice in that part of the world.

John Leffler, St George steering, Belmore rd Punchbowl, 02 9750 7650, you'll have to keep calling till you get john, he works part time these days, worth the trouble as he is simply the best at wheel aligning minis.

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

Sporadic = occurring at irregular intervals or only in a few places; scattered or isolated.

synonyms: occasional, infrequent, irregular, periodical, periodic, scattered, patchy, isolated, odd, uneven

Ring and make an appointment...

As I said, John works when he wants to as he's semi retired now, keep ringing, eventually he'll answer.

So a few weeks late with this, but my tire supplier has recently got a new fancy pants alignment machine, quite a bit of fun to watch, well for me anyway. I was distracted buy the fancy wheel attachments I didn't take some decent photos, but I am due back in about 950km's for a recheck, after rotating the steering wheel to correct the skew that was on the car (difference in threads on for the tie rod ends).

After the alignment and the new Wheels the mini is great to drive, if you have a look at the "build" thread you can see the wheel attachment reflector device.
