Years ago I was lucky enough to get a Hitachi D4R81 dizzy modified and recurved for me by Marcel Chichak in Canada.

When he sent it over, he had kindly "fixed up" the vac advance unit, and it worked well for years, but did eventually die. I don't want to run the new road motor without one and throw away all that fuel economy. :|

Anyone know of a source for replacement units? Searching online doesn't find much, I can find ones that look sort-of similar (see link below), but at the price I'm not too keen to get one to find out it doesn't fit.

I did manage to modify a 29D vac advance unit to work on it some years back, but I don't have any of those that will hold a vacuum either. :lol:
