Morning all.. Was wondering where is the best place to buy a camber kit and are there any differences say between a minisport aus / uk or minispares uk one? Minispares aus is like $345.. Uk is a little cheaper and minispares seems be to about $100 cheaper. |

One kit was quite flimsy- I can't remember if it was Minisport UK? it was a long time ago I fitted one for a mate. Check out the design of both the Minisport UK and Minispares UK one. I think Minisport in SA and Karcraft in Sydney both sell the Minispares one here. |

Yeah minisport aus and karcraft sell the minispares one... no one seems to sell the minisport one so maybe thats the dodgy one? minispares/karcaft sell 3 diff ones. Is the one with the spherical joint arm better then the other? |

Is the one with the spherical joint arm better then the other? Spherical joint lower arms are for racing. They were illegal for road use, and maybe still are. Minispares adjustable bottom arms with the rubbers work OK, but IMO the earlier type with tube and 2 locknuts was stronger. MUCH bigger thread. An alternative for road use is 1.5deg -ve camber bottom arms. That's what I run now. In my previous reply I took `camber kits' to mean the adjustable rear brackets, I was not referring to bottom arms. |

For rear brackets the Minisport UK items are much better than the Minispares UK items. Dare I say Minisport have taken 'inspiration' from the KAD items but at a price we can justify ![]() And the new Minispares UK bottom arms seem to be OK - no sign of bending or fracture yet. |

Have to admit my MinisportUK rear brackets are still fine after 9 years... At the front I use M'spares tie rods and Selby (Oz) lower arms. If you do adjust caster then the M'spares eccentric inner rubber bushes are a good idea. Cheers, Ian |

Wouldn't say so... I had a set of Minisport UK heavy duty adjustable bottom arms years ago and from the pictures they don't seem to have changed - they were great ![]() |
