Both front and rear. Built new strut towers for the rear and converted to a beam set up. |

So do you always have to modify the rear towers to fit coil overs? |

No, you can get shocks with offset tops, but they're not as good as turretting the rear to fit them properly as done above. Makes them stronger too. |

Are the turrets just set up vertical to the bottom mounting location or do they need to be set on an angle? |

Post subject: | Re: Coilovers |
Mine were set up vertical. No need to make angle changes. |

Just looking into front coil overs at the moment - can I ask anyone in the know if you have to have 13x7 wheels? |

Harley wrote: Just looking into front coil overs at the moment - can I ask anyone in the know if you have to have 13x7 wheels? that's a really good question, but the offset of the wheels might be more the issue my assumption would be that fronts are OK, but rears could cause problems...? |

You're right Simon - In my case I have 13x7 -7s, and 13x6 +15 wheels as a backup - a difference of 34mm where the shock absorber is! Doesn't look like there's that much space in the pics above - and he has metro brakes! |
