Ok, i'm looking for some ideas. I have some small holes in the floor. I want to find a paint that I can use under the car that will seal these holes. I want to be able to brush it on as spraying will be to hard, messy. The car has just had a re spray and i don't want to risk the finish. It needs to be the car colour, crystal white. Also i need to get all the old paint off. Any ideas anyone ![]() Matt. |

or another option.... http://www.u-pol.co.uk/product-cat/83/raptor™-bed-liner.htm If these are way off the mark just go with some polyurethane adhesive sealant like Sikaflex in a white then just touch up with your correct colour when dry............Simple ![]() |

And rust proof it all before putting a cover up sealer on it? |

Thanks everyone, all those suggestions gave me something to think about. Yeah Mickmini you're 100% right, so after doing a little more research I think I like the POR15 products. The floor certainly looks strucually sound but I guess I won't know until all the old paint comes off which will give the POR15 rust preventive paint a good bond, then i can go over with the POR15 White Coat. I've used the POR15 Fuel tank repair kit on the inside of my tanks and am extremely happy with the results, so I reckon the other products will do the job. It will look the goods any way. Here's hoping i find no rust, don't know what i'll do if there is. Don't even want to think about it. ![]() Matt. |

That's some hard work right there. Came up a treat. Where do you think the holes came from? Dents or corrosion? |

Thanks gtogreen, i'm really liking that photo of the top side its a good angle. And Mick, the holes or hole, definitely not rust. There was some damage to the floor around were the wheel arch met the floor, not bad damage but possible source. The other place were water came from was the the recess for the jack. So i made sure i got some sika body sealer in there and painted over it. I think those covers look good black! I'm trying to work out now how to wash under the car, haha. Matt. |
