No sure if this is the correct section of the forum but:-
I have had two requests to send a Boot Lid I have on ebay to Taiwan (airmail) and France (sea mail).
Surely they could get one from "closer to home" than me sending it .
Bemused
Phil

I had questions from a guy on ebay who wanted me to send doors to France and also an twin SU inlet manifold. It did seem a bit odd to me too. What was the user name

It does seem pretty strange, more so for the French than the Taiwanese..

As long as they cough up the coin, and you put tracking on the parcel, then what's the beef I suppose.

Pacaging is a pain for overseas, but you can quote accordingly.

Also some want the aussie doors as they are similar to the Radford doors that had quarter vents.

I've sent a bit of stuff overseas to ausmini and MiniMania members
An RE282 cam, RE7 inlet manifold and an Oz alloy rocker cover to Portugal.
A Deluxe bonnet badge and Mini K owners handbook to USA.
Etc.

As long as they pay up it's no big deal.
:)

I agree with Mick "As long as they pay for the Goods" I would post to Mars.
Who cares where they are buying from. Us Aussies buy from far and beyond when we find something we want and can't get locally!

Maybe we should ask pouik pouik what parts he needs, I am sure between us we would have all the bits sitting spare in the shed and can then do a bulk deal !!!!

The first thing I ever sold on ebay was a moke fuel tank - to Germany!
Cost him twice the purchase price for postage, but he was happy just to get it.

I'm sending a few doors and bootlids to the philippines. Not very many parts there. So might as well be the supplier.

We'll, I posted my boot lid off to France.
The purchaser, Arnaud, (bl-235-mc on here) is building an Australian Clubman and needs all the help he can get finding parts.
He has a Wanted add for Clubman door so if anyone has a pair it would be appreciated if you could help him out.
