Hello All,
I am needing some help from the brains trust. I have a 68 Minimatic that is running on its original engine box (barely running that is) and its very tired both engine and box. I bought a 998 auto (approx 85-88 model A+) from a fellow ausminier that appears to be in very good nick visually.
My minimatic currently runs a generator (still positive earth), hardy spicer joints and its 29D(?) distributor.

My question is what am I going to need to drop this A+ engine in?
I am thinking;
new driveshafts to suit the pot joint diff set up on the A+ box
new distributor as the A series appears to be different, although not sure which one? and Will this still work with the generator and the positive earth or will I need to convert?
maybe a new cable set up etc as what I can see from photos, mid 80s minis only have RN123D where my minimatic still has the RN1234D?
Anything I have missed?
