The last thing I have to do is fit my grille.

I haven't touched it since I took it out.

Should I repaint it the original way, or polish it up and leave it unpainted?

Paint it BLACK. Like a GT. Goes nicer with the red exterior.. 8)

Strip the paint carefully, polish the aluminium, mask off thin lines along the grill, and subtle rings around the headlights, then spray it satin black. Paint the emblem carefully in the body colour.

Details like that set cars apart, and it's what I intend to do both my Clubman grilles.

Either only painting or only polishing looks a little "easy" or cheap, I reckon.

this is a good thread, i think angusdog has the golden idea, and i will be using it, thanks mate 8) im not too fond of the blinged grilles, they have no definitiom, itss just a big shine in the square mini front :? and the plain black ones, yeah better than bling, but a combo of both, that is the cookie. 8)

Black or Chrome.
Black would look a bit better I think, since there is alot of chrome on the bumper
anyway.

Don't totally bling it. I'd keep it black to go with the rest of the car, it would then be complete in terms of colour scheme.

Looks better in black... if you want a bling grille, buy a round nose
