John Smidt the owner of Mini Spares Centre Group 80 Gibson Avenue Padstow would like to invite Ausmini members to a discount day and sausage sizzle lunch.

Day: Sunday
Date: 17/07/05
Time 0900am onwards
Lunch 12midday.

A range of dicounts 15-20% maybe more on all items and a free lunch with an oportunity to meet John and most importantly for him to meet you is on offer. John was the owner of Mini Kingdom and part owner of Mini Spares. After a 5-6 year tense trading relationship with the owner of old mini clinic/mini spares is now MIni Spares Centre Group.

What this means is stock range will increase, expanation is already happening 12" & 13" rims and other goodies not previously available will be. There will be a price reveiw across the board and access to the vast amount of knowledge they have.

One advantage Mini Spares Centre Group has over other competitors is the vast range of new old factory stock they have as John bought a majority of stock at the BMC leyland auction when it closed so while you are scourering ebay for something you think is scarce give them a call they might just have it and as the big guy isn't there anymore to over inflate the price you won't get robbed.

John is really interested in what stock and mechanical items people want so he will provide a brief questionaire for people which is really helpful for him to help us.

I was really glad he thought of doing this opening on a Sunday and I'm holding back on some of the stuff I know I need from there to get it at a discount price. I also believe there will be a lucky door prize

For those at Makkas place a sausage and onion sandwich/roll will help with the hand over and give you strength to head back to Makkas for an afternoon session.

Cheers, I hope this is of interest to people

Steve

Mini Car Club NSW has contacted Mini Spares Centre Group expressing diappointment that no offer was extended to it, silly committee some of its committee members and membership participate and are part of Ausmini.

People on Ausmini approached John and he said fine MCC could have, as MCC members participate on Ausmini they are all welcome.

Does anybody know if Mini Car Club NSW expressed the same level of diappointment to Graeme Russell.

How obsurd seems committee or some of it are threatened by a chat group which is heavily used by their membership. Soooooo Strange.........................silly misguided people.

Not that there is any need to spur on the thoughts and feelings. These things happen. As part of both groups, I get what I want and need out of both. Thats why EVERYONE should be part of both and actively participate in both... :D Then you never miss out on a thing... which I always seem to do
