I have a weber 45 on my motor and it stalls when warm and coming to a stop to idle, but it drives fine on the open road. The car is rarely driven. I am planning on taking it to a carbureter specialist on Friday, but if the car stalls most of the time it won't restart unless l change the plugs. The plugs are black as can be when l inspect them, l am hoping on driving the car the 10 min journey to the mechanic. The weber came off a car l bought which was written off, the weber itself has never been inspected internally. Does it sound like my idle is super rich? Do l raise the idle to compensate for the stalling? Can anyone give me some pointers on what jet sizes and specs l should be running. I have recently changed the fuel reg and pump as l believed that this was the culprit, l have a steady 2.5 psi of fuel and l have fresh petrol, thanks for your help
Motor is a 1330cc with a 286 cam
