I have a 12in SAAS steering wheel which i bought way back in 97. Now the leather is starting to get a little worn and was hoping to get it recovered. I cant buy this size steering wheel any more and i really need to keep it as any thing bigger and it will rub on my leg.

Has any 1 ever had a wheel recovered before, im sure it can be done and cost really isnt an issue. But finding any 1 capable in Cairns to do it is pretty much hopeless!!.

I have been told (years ago) that SAAS wheels can be re-covered by SAAS. As my current `fakewood' SAAS wheel is made in China this may no longer be true, but it's worth asking them.

I believe SAAS was sold and/or split up a few years ago. I don't think it is as it used to be any more.

I got my MotaLita done 10 years ago in vinyl and it cost $80 then. Now it'd be cheaper to go buy a new wheel I reckon.
