It's the engine in the AW11 MR2, and also in certain corolla versions. |

You can break it up... You get: 4A-GZE 4A is the family of engine's..like A-Series.. G = Wide angle Twin Cam (sportier head) Z = Supercharged E = Electronic Fuel Injection |

Was owned by Mini Spares & Repairs, at Riverstone. Still racing I think. |

being an aw11 mr2 boy myself. and talking to the mr2 lads. they recon the sc12 has a replacement. the sc12 is apparently getting on in years so u can get an aftermarket supercharger which is the same thing, but newer/better. BUT.. i forget the name

BUT.. i forget the name Being an EX-MR2 supercharged boy myself, and playing with those exact idea, I can tell you that the upgrage supercharger is one of 2 blowers..... a "Whipple" or an "Eaton". The Eaton blower is more of a AE101 upgrade than an MR2 upgrade, so I would say that the Whipple is the one you are referring to. Scary thought- the Whipple is said to be good for 25psi.
