Surface are is what you are looking for .... Easy enough to calculate the the gains or losses involved in trading an extra inch in height off against the area of the top. Cheers, Ian |

Have ordered some 6 inch socks and will cut them down an inch to clear the back of the box. Might get an extra half a HP. ![]() |

I like these filters http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2-x-RAMAIR-C ... 1808129324 It stretches over the ramtube to seal on the outside, and is essentially a soft filter box, so you have more open space around the ram tubes then with plain socks. I can't remember if i bought them on ebay or direct from ramair, but if you go searching there are different length ones to suit webers. I think i bought a pair because it was cheaper and sold on the spare one. |
