The 99 at the start would suggest it is a 998 block. It may well have been fitted with a 1098 crank and pistons at some stage however.. |

99 means 998. Unless it has had the crankshaft changed it is a 998. |

Ok thanks guys. So im guessing if its a differant crank it would increase the stroke = more cc's? He also said has been bored 40thou with flat top pistons and lumpy cam. We will get more info in the morning. |

You can stick an 1100 crank in a 998. They are the same block. |
