Does anyone recognise the part number AYA4020 Mowog brake drum. It measures 180mm across so it appears to be the same as the std 21A22 drum. |

AYA4020 is an Australian part number and is listed in some Australian Mini parts books. 21A22 is a UK number. This probably means they were getting brake drums made locally. |

As mentioned above, it's the Australian produced version of the standard Mini (i.e. non-Cooper S) brake drum. First released into production in May 1963, so they must've used the UK part until then. You may find the casting date code on there too. |
