Anyone got any tips to help get some new upper channel back in.... The new rubber is damn sticky and getting stuck to the door frame and can only get about 7-9" along the top of the windows before it grabs too much to move.. Was thinking the old hair spray/deodorant spray trick to lubricate it when it will dry with no residue... |

When I fitted new ones I just squeezed it together and pushed it into the window frame. Not sliding it in from one end but just pinched it up and progressively pushed it in around the frame. Easy as ! |

I did the same as Phil. No sliding, just poked it in. |

Worked it out.... Remove windows. Remove channel.. Replace channel..reinstall windows... Hardest part was finding the screws in the lower Channel. |

Sorry, didn't realise you hadn't removed the windows. The screws can be a pain to find. Worse still if the head is partially rusted away and you can't unscrew them. Should be an easy job now. |

Yep, worth the investment in stainless steel replacements |
