I am going through my car to get it back to "road legal", she's had a hard life as a hill climber.
They have mounted the fuel pump and filter in the boot. I would think this is illegal for on road use. Can anyone confirm this?

Not illegal as far as I can work out. I can think of quite a few cars that come with the pump and filter in the boot standard. They are usually hidden behind a trim panel or false floor.

But it probably isn't the neatest idea in a Mini.

I will be moving it to underneath eventually. Just wanted to prioritise what jobs to do first. Have a big list.
Thanks

as far as I know it's ok, you just have to have panel between fuel system and passenger compartment. i.e. you can't have pump or lines actually inside where you sit.
