Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and a mini owner from way back 30 years ago, I'm looking to buy another now and was hoping I could get your opinion on a mini 1100 I'm considering buying. Here's what I know about it, it's a 69 model 1100 it was painted about a year ago in white so body is straight, rust and bog free (my spray painter mate confirmed this) the engine is stock, the interior needs the front seats redoing as they've been done befor but a home job looks cheap! It has disc brake front end, hydralastic suspension, 13 inch wheels with new tyres which haven't been driven, it's currently unregistered but it's being sold with 12 months rego doing blue slip now. The current owner wants $9000... Which I think is a fair price what do you think? See picture attached.

Cheers
Jenk

looks nice :)

has the engine & gearbox been rebuilt?

it has an 850 grille in it, but obviously that's easy to replace

Nice car , if all the mechanicals are good in it and you don't have to spend any money on it , then it's probably close to the money , it's getting hard to build them for that money ,a blue slip / roadworthy should show any outstanding faults which then can determine buyers price .

Hi goodie,

my thoughts exactly, it runs and drives well... I plan to replace the engine down the track with maybe a 1380 supercharged! the current owner is organising blue slip and 12 months rego now so should be all good.

cheers.
