No wonder it's only partially striped, thats an old model and theyre using a metric spanner.

Ah yes, but metric fits most imperial (except Whitworth) but annoyingly not the other way round.
That front alloy wheel looks salvageable.
Nice model and photography.

Is that the ultra rare "1105cc Cooper S" with the diagonal grille brace going the other way?
