i have 2 mates with old holdens that have the same steering wheel, or at least... it looks the same.. lol the chrome bit is a blinder when the sun hits it at the correct angle ![]() |

wooden wheels can get slippery with sweaty hands. I had one yonks ago and changed it when my hands slipped off and I almost ran up the gutter! ![]() |

I had a MotoLita leather (redone in vinyl) one in Ha-Ha but now run a SAAS Chinese made `fakewood' one. Guess what- the wood one is more comfortable! I just worry it will spear me in an accident- I bet there's no metal inside that rim except for the spokes.. ![]() |

The timber wheels certainly look good but I was told they are illegal so I went with a chrome spoked wheel with black leather. I've been told that technically it's illegal too. Ziff |

Ziff I think you will find neither are illegal on an early Mini with the old bus wheel, that wasn't padded anyhow. ![]() |
