Hi All,
I have a 77 clubman van and it's running a little smokey/rough. Just wondering if anyone could recommend a good, mini-specific mechanic in Geelong. I'm hoping to start driving it 1-2 days to Lorne from Torquay per week, so want it fully serviced for this and obviously wouldn't enjoy breaking down on the Great Ocean Road...

Thanks in advance.

Cheers mate, I've posted there plus mini club of Vic which referred me to here. All good, I think I'll take it to Link Automotive, just a bit of a trip from Torquay and as it's not running great I'll likely have to get it towed.

If you are taking it a long way, you could try Neville Purdue in Ballarat.
He's worked on mine a few times and is excellent.

Hi Lachlan, just seen your post.
Most of us do own own work, I don't know of a Mini specific guy anymore.
There are some good sparky's and engine places etc.
There is a get together Weds night. I'll ask.
