Can anyone enlighten me as to what model Mini this steering wheel is off, also could it be fitted straight onto a mk2 column?

Cheers. Richard.

Certainly not an Australian factory one.

A bit of googling suggests that the TR7 used the same 3/4" x 48 spline hub as the Mini steering wheel, so it should fit straight on. It may not end up in the same relative position as the original wheel, and it may not have the same taper as the Mini steering column so it might tear the splines out and just free-wheel on the shaft at a later date, but it should go on OK.
