What can I clean up a tacho with that won't stuff up the workings? Sometimes my needle doesn't want to return to 0. Tapping on it fixes it but I want to fix the problem before it breaks. Edit, Weapons of choice are (CO Contact cleaner, Lectra clean, Silicone spray, WD40) |

Have you looked inside yet? Might be something really obvious like a bit of dirt or sticky crud. Be aware but, you might find the little hamster that spins it round might be sick, have a broken leg or worst of all his walking frame might be jambing something. ![]() |

Haven't pulled it apart. Just seeing what people have used in the past to clean and lubricate it with. |

DO NOT spray anything in there unless you know what you are doing ![]() Keep it away from workbenches if you open it (recommend newspaper on Laundry Bench or Kitchen table) |
