Same stuff they use in a/c systems. Works great, one speck shows up so bright when you shine light on it. It's used in a/c systems to show where theres gas leaks as the gas disappears but I don't know why you'd need it to find engine oil leaks. Isn't the leak where the the black oily stuff is coming out? |

Here's a fun week end project! making oil leak finding fun. Wash (Steam clean) the engine bay (or whole car) re grease all your nipples  then go for a spirited drive to the supermarket. If you cant find the leak on investigation of your squeaky clean engine, buy a bottle of baby powder (magnesium silicate) and powder your engine. Drive home and inspect your engine, if you still cant find the oil leak, drive back to the supermarket and ask for a refund as you're not 100% satisfied!On Monday, they'll all think you're made at work. THIS IS NOT for the HOW TO section! |

It's not finding the leaks that is hard... It's working out how to plug them up  My 4 month old drools constantly and I have no idea how such a little thing can produce so much fluid  Maybe they should investigate babies as a source of zero point energy - you can turn drool into energy, right?
