Hi guys,
Could anyone help me out with the correct distributor number for a late 64 Morris 850? I would like to rebuild one ready for my van and want it to be period correct. I have 20 or 30 to pick from so hopefully I have one close.

My InterEurope manual (Oz supplement) says-
850,
Early model HC, Lucas DM2, 40768A
Early model LC, Lucas DM2, 40707D

Late model HC, Lucas 25D4, 40941
Late model LC, Lucas 29D4, 62941051A

I have advance specs for all these if you want.

Never heard of Lucas DM2. Is that there real early cast steel one?

DM2 is the early cast alloy D shaped one.

Next, how much earlier would the date stamped on it be? Wiper motor is 10/64, would it be similar to that?
