It's not really a question but more of a challenge. Drivers door mechanism collapsed today and I see a new door is now warranted. Which means the repaint I've planned for the last 5 years has been approved by the minister for finance and entertainment. Watch this space. Attachment: 20150506_080034.jpg

Well the bloke who bought it off us, before you, was gonna paint it- and never did. I'd not look a gift horse in the mouth, if SWMBO has given her authority, I'd go for it!  You could weld that door up, no need for a new one. |

Thanks Doc. I am right though that the collapse is real and would affect the door (not) closing? Paint was on the cards from day one. I know it's a piece of string question but how long do people usually take on a quick re spray. I figure it's windows out, external trim, tanks. Are there any procedural threads on here. I know it's a stupid question but I don't want to under estimate. |

One thing you could do is, buy, or borrow a wind up window door off someone and chuck it on until you can organise to get yours fixed properly with out the rush . On a more important note , i'd be concentrating more on getting your carby fuelling issue sorted out first . |
