Normally the floor pans are one piece from front to rear but most of the floor pan sections stop at the seat cross member hence the gap |

I think you'll find most of the half floors, disregarding the one with the channel for the hydro pipes, are actually repair sections not replacement panels. Usually from magnum. They are designed to fit over the top of the rusty areas, the flange butts up against the crossmember. We know this because the rear half has a cut out to fit around the companion bin. A proper bodge, but these are companies that "recommission' cars rather than restoring them. Not unlike the a panels that have a flange to fit over the top of the existing a panel. A proper job would be to find replacement floor halves (not repair sections) or fit full floors. |

Maybe look for Heritage panels? And as others have suggested replace the whole floor and not just each seperate area? |

No, it's not the cooper. It's an unfinished deluxe project, in pieces. It sounds like a dodgy repair that going to take a lot of fixing. I'll keep looking. Thanks |
