Hey Guys, I'm looking at putting a brake servo into my morris mini... its running front discs and rear drums, 1340cc engine. Which is a good servo to use? been having a look online and seeing a bit of pbr vh44... but that says its only really suitable for drum/drum config... What do you guys run and whats the best brand/model to buy for a brake servo? Cheers! |

VH44 would be the most widely used booster on early minis. Good on Disc/Drum. |

I think you could also say the VH44 was the most commonly used server in the 60s and 70s? |

There were various VH44 servos. Even some Valiants ran em. Cooper S Mk2 had a VH44J. |

You can buy new replicas of the ones originally fitted to the Mk I S.... Saves messing with something thst may not have the correct specs for your application. By the time you find overhaul kits/have the work done, a new one may be cost competitive. Try Minisport Adelaide's web site. Cheers, Ian |

Not to confused with VH40 which is for drum brakes. |
